Jana Pierce, Chris Pierce v. Lana Thi Gray Trial Closing Arguments on Tuesday May 23, O.C. Superior D-C20
Jana Pierce was in her car on 9/11/14 and hit from behind by a lady named Lana Thi Gray. Jana had prior neck injuries, that included surgeries to her neck in 1994 and in 2003, which made her more susceptible to new injuries and aggravation of her prior injuries. This collision resulted in a lot of medical treatment for Jana, including another neck surgery. We are currently in trial in Orange County Sup. Ct. 700 Civic Center West, Santa Ana. Our courtroom is C20, 6th Floor, Judge David R. Chaffee.
On Tuesday, May 23, 2017, at probably 11:00 a.m. or at 1:30 p.m. (depending how long the witness at 9:30 a.m. goes) we will have closing arguments.
If you can come to the closing arguments to lend support we would appreciate it. We are up against State Farm lawyers Delgado and Leeper. They are arguing that Jana suffered very minimal injuries and did not need the surgery. We have presented strong evidence from her surgeon, Gerald Alexander, our accident reconstruction expert, Gerald “Joe” Yates, and UCLA Professor Vijay Gupta, that objective evidence shows that Jana suffered injuries to her neck and surgery was necessary. The closing arguments should be interesting and you will get to see how insurance company lawyers try to avoid responsibility for their client and get out of paying fair and reasonable damages. The more people that show up in support shows the jury how much people care about Jana & Chris and the good works they do!
